- Create a triangular section, using the end of the eyebrows and the top of the head as reference
- Divide the rear occipital area in half vertically, then lift hair to the front at a 45° angle and scissor cut, keeping the longest length. Define all the lengths free hand using a razor
- Lift the hair in the upper area to the front at a 45° angle, create a ponytail and cut. Repeat on the opposite side
- Gather the hair in the fringe section into a ponytail, then cut to the desired length
